The commanding officer of the Athens-Clarke County police Traffic Unit recently graduated from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Va.
Lt. Don Eckert graduated after completing a 10-week program that includes advanced studies in investigation and management, as well as physical training.
Instructional staff includes FBI special agents and others who hold advanced degrees, and many are internationally recognized in their fields of expertise.
