Three North Carolina residents were arrested early Saturday when they were found in possession of illegal drugs in
the parking lot of Days Inn on North Finley Street, Athens-Clarke County police said.
The Fayetteville residents were inside a parked car when checked on by officers who were keeping an eye on things in the high-crime area.
An undisclosed amount of narcotics were seized, as were cellphones and the Honda CRV they occupied, according to police.
Jason Terrell Williams, 34, was
charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, police said. Cyndi Jhad Sealey, 25, and Ashley Myria Clarke, 22, were each charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug-related objects.
