Wyteeka Nickcole Hancock, 33, was arrested Saturday night after she called police during a domestic dispute and it was subsequently learned she was wanted on an outstanding warrant in Rockdale County, Athens-Clarke County police said.
Hancock, who was having a dispute with her boyfriend, called 911 because her boyfriend had her keys and she was unable to get into her home, police said. After officers assisted her getting in, she told them that was all she needed. However, the officers learned about the warrant when running a routine check on her identity.
Hancock was arrested, police said, and the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office placed a hold on her release from the local jail.
