Tyrell Octavious Bonds, 19, of Emerald Circle was arrested Monday night after he was found parked in a car on Pepperidge Lane in which marijuana was being smoked and a search turned up pot, a prescription pill, a digital scale and a large sum of cash, Athens-Clarke County police said.
Bonds was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a prescription drug outside of the original container and possession of drug-related objects, police said.
Two males with him in the car were released with no charges.
