A 25-year-old resident of Hallmark Estates was taken to the hospital Monday evening with injuries he suffered when attacked by two males at Bethel Midtown Village, Athens-Clarke County police said.
The victim said he went to the apartment of an ex-girlfriend in order to give her child gifts on the child’s birthday, and while there he was beaten and stomped by the suspects, who also reached into his pockets in an attempt to rob him, according to police.
