Athens-Clarke County police said Monday they were investigating several burglaries:
• The back door of a home on Strickland Avenue was kicked in between 2 p.m. Nov. 22 and 2 p.m. Sunday and a TV valued at $500 was stolen.
• Someone broke a window to get into a home on Cherokee Road between 4 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Sunday and stole a computer, DVD players and a TV altogether valued at $1,550. A possible suspect was named.
• A back window of a home in the 500 block of Creek Hollow Way was broken between 11 a.m. Friday and 6:15 p.m. Sunday and two TVs, a cellphone, a video recorder, jewelry and cash altogether valued at $1,950 were stolen.
• Two homes in the Arch Hill condo community on Herman Street were burglarized between noon and 7 p.m. Sunday, but it did not immediately appear anything was stolen.
• The front door to a trailer at the Pinewood Estates North mobile home park on U.S. Highway 29 North was forced open between 4 and 9:30 p.m. Sunday and a TV valued at $650 was stolen.
