John Gagliano’s team-player attitude emerged while growing up in Oglethorpe County, where he also found he had a desire to do “worthy work.”
Those are among the qualities which perhaps guided him to a career in law enforcement, now serving as a detective with the University of Georgia Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division.
They were attributes mentioned by UGA Police Chief Jimmy Williamson when nominating Gagliano for the University Optimist Club’s 2014 Respect for Law Award.
