A suspected dealer was arrested Monday afternoon after he was involved in a hit-and-run crash in north Athens and tried to flee the scene with a backpack containing marijuana and distribution paraphernalia, Athens-Clarke County police said.
Benjamin Adam Campbell, 33, of Dials Mill Extension in Statham, was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, driving under the influence of drugs and motor vehicle law violations, police said.
