Authorities on Monday arrested a 24-year-old man for the alleged rape of a teenage girl. In addition, Marvin C. Sims of Old Hull Road was charged with felony child molestation.
The alleged assaults occurred at an east Athens residence over a period of time from December 2012 to February 2013, according to warrants obtained by the Athens-Clarke County Police Department. The alleged victim was 14 years old at the time, according to the warrants.
