The Atlanta man who is wanted for a fatal shooting in Athens last month has spent much of his adult life in and out of jail and prison.
Corey Antwan Blount, 33, served three state prison sentences, the first beginning in 2004 for convictions in Clayton County on multiple counts of entering an automobile, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections. He was sent to prison twice more, in 2006 and 2008, once for a theft by receiving stolen property conviction in Fulton County.
