A veteran emergency responder was recently promoted to the rank of lieutenant with Barrow County Emergency Services.
“I want to congratulate Keith Jarrett on his promotion,” Emergency Services Interim Chief John Skinner said.
“Keith has been with Barrow County since 2002, and with his experience I know he will do well in this new position,” Skinner said.
Jarrett became an EMT in 1991, when he was 19 years old. He earned Georgia Basic Firefighter certification two years later. He obtained his paramedic certification in 1995.
