An Athens woman was arrested Thursday morning after she threatened to kill her boyfriend and assaulted him with a pair of butcher knives, Athens-Clarke County police said.
The 30-year-old victim was not injured, and Keosha Nyree Maxey allegedly threw one of the knives at his car as he escaped from her home on Redstone Drive, according to police.
Maxey, 31, was charged with aggravated assault, battery and criminal damage to property.
