A 72-year-old Hull woman convicted of trying to hire a hit man to murder her husband six years ago was arrested Thursday night for violating probation for the third time since her release from prison last May.
Ivy Jean Davis met with an undercover Athens-Clarke police officer in May 2007 and said she wanted to hire him to kill her husband of 47 years. Authorities say she also said she wanted her son-in-law dead, and that there were even more people she wanted killed after the pretend hit man finished those jobs.
