A University of Georgia student was arrested Friday night after he was caught driving an SUV at 103 mph on the Athens Perimeter at College Station Road, Athens-Clarke County police said.
While travelling at an excessive speed, the vehicle being driven by 20-year-old Alexander Dean Ferraro was seen passing another vehicle on the right side, according to police.
Ferraro was charged with reckless driving and speeding, police said. A UGA resident assistant responded to the scene to take possession of Ferraro’s vehicle.
