Athens-Clarke County police were investigating a University of Georgia student’s alleged stalking activities that last Thursday included a can of insect poison being thrown through a broken window of an Oconee Street apartment, Athens-Clarke County police said.
The can of fogging agent activated after it was tossed through the window at about 9:30 a.m., according to police.
The incident occurred two weeks after tires of the victim’s car were slashed, allegedly by the student, and after a temporary restraining order the victim obtained in court expired, police said.
