A University of Georgia student was arrested early Saturday in connection with a disturbance at a bar downtown, and when taken to jail was found to have cocaine in his pocket, Athens-Clarke County police said.
Ali Rezvan, 23, was being escorted out of Jerzees Sportsbar at about 2:10 a.m. when an officer who was in the area witnessed him scuffling with en employee, according to police.
He was arrested for disorderly conduct and later charged with felony cocaine possession when the drug was found during a search at the Clarke County Jail, police said.
