Dylan Drake Funderburk, 26, of Jefferson was arrested for alleged drunken driving Thursday night after police received a complaint that his car was seen swerving and running stop signs, according to an Athens-Clarke County police report.
An officer who conducted a traffic stop noted a nearly empty bottle of whiskey on the front passenger seat of Funderburk’s car and an empty bottle of beer on the floor, according to the report. Funderburk declined taking roadside sobriety tests, saying he knew he would fail, according to the report.
Funderburk was charged with DUI ad failure to maintain lane.
