Mary Ashley Moss, 22, of Johns Creek was arrested Thursday after an employee caught her attempting to steal personal hygiene products valued a $25 from Kroger on U.S. Highway 29 North, Athens-Clarke County police said.
The employee told police Moss was seen removing clearance labels from items and sticking them on other items with higher prices. She also concealed the hygiene products when passing the point of purchase, according to police.
Moss was charged with theft by shoplifting.
