A thief smashed the window of a pickup truck at Thomas Concrete of Athens on Winterville Road between 1:30 and 4 p.m. Wednesday and stole a circular saw, drill kit, ratchet set, CDs and speakers altogether valued at $1,080, Athens-Clarke County police said.
