Robert William Bagley, 47, of Creek Hollow Way, was arrested for drunken driving early Wednesday morning following another motorist’s report of an aggressive and reckless driver on Jefferson Road, Athens-Clarke County police said.

After spotting Bagley’s pickup truck failing to maintain its lane on Jefferson Road, an officer stopped him on an Athens Perimeter entrance ramp shortly after midnight, police said.

When asked for his driver’s license, Bagley presented a bank card. Initially refusing to exit the vehicle, Bagley got out when threatened with a Taser, police said.

Bagley, who refused to submit to sobriety tests, was charged with DUI, improper driving and possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle.
