A homeless man reported he was cut Monday afternoon by a man who tried to steal his blanket from where he sleeps behind a business in the 200 block of Hawthorne Avenue, Athens-Clarke County police said.
The victim, who was bleeding from a laceration to his hand, was taken by ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital, police said.
