Athens-Clarke County police said they went to the Budget Host Inn motel on Atlanta Highway early Tuesday after receiving notice a woman who had several outstanding arrest warrants was there.
Paula Renae Pope, 38, of Chesterton Drive, was located and served with local warrants charging her with felony theft by shoplifting and failure to appear in Superior Court. Police said additional warrants for her arrest were held by authorities in Snellville and Hart County.
