Athens-Clarke County police said they were looking to question a 27-year-old woman who on Wednesday allegedly rammed a car she was driving into another car before attempting to attack the man driving that car with a baseball bat, Athens-Clarke County police said.
The incident occurred at about 11 p.m. on Arch Street, where after both drivers got out of their cars and the woman advanced on the victim while swinging the bat, grazing his chest and arm. She also allegedly grabbed the man by the shirt, ripping it off of him, before getting back into her car and driving away, according to police.
The victim reportedly told police he had only known the woman a couple of days, and that she apparently was mad at him because he had a girlfriend.
