Athens-Clarke County police on Saturday investigated a woman’s report that several pair of her underwear were stolen from her Sunset Terrace home.
She said the lingerie went missing from a plastic bag she planned on taking to the laundromat, and believes a man who was harassing her for three years stole the undergarments, according to police.
The woman thinks the man enters her home by picking a door lock, which he re-locks when leaving, police said.
“She was not certain why he would steal her underwear other then to scare her,” according to a police report.
