To help put an end to a rash of armed robberies, Athens-Clarke County police announced a reward was being offered for information that leads to the arrests of those involved.
Police continued to seek those connected to the six armed robberies committed between March 17-26. Two attempted robberies happened in that same time frame, which police believe likely involve the same suspects.
Half of the victims in the armed robberies are University of Georgia students. One victim is a UGA professor.
